I'm not here to argue by any means but actually agree. I view this discussion from the viewpoint of the average user who knows a little more than the average user. My only gripe is that I feel that web designers are being more and more scared away from flash simply because of it's lack of utility in a mobile environment. I am a fan of flash but I also tend to design and develop with the mobile device in mind. So yes, getting them to work together,or having them work in synchronicity with each other sounds like the ideal solution!
